Mars Tokyo b. 1952 Baltimore, MD currently resides in Baltimore, MD Self-taught, self-influenced, self-known, self-tested, self-acknowledged, self-challenged, self-created. Recent work: Black on Black series (2007-) Miniature Theaters series (2001-2007) Secret Works (1996-2000) Visual Diaries (ongoing) Handmade Books (1990-1998) Mars Tokyo Rubber Stamp Company, R.I.P. (1990-2000) exhibited widely in nationally juried shows in the 1970s-80's, was listed in Who’s Who In America and attended the United Nations Fourth World Conference in Beijing China in 1995 presenting to the NGO portion, on the topic of Art as Information vs. Commodity.
